Vice President, Synthetic Chemistry
Ho-Yin Lo, Ph.D

With the experience of a number of drug discovery projects in my professional career, I could contribute significantly to the structural modification of acetaminophen like active moieties and congeners to overcome various requirements for the project. Since I had been working on a number of projects related to the mechanism of action of arachidonic acid peroxidation, such as sEH, and FLAP, I believe this experience will be extremely helpful on this project.  In addition to that, I have specific experience in the study of idiosyncratic toxicity using GSH adduct formation technique, as shown in one of my publication. The hepatotoxicity of acetaminophen is in fact related to GSH adduct. Therefore, my knowledge on related structural modification will be extremely useful to this project.
